Apple is preparing to launch OS X 10.11 El Capitan to the public later this month, but before that happens Apple is already releasing betas for a future update to the upcoming desktop operating system.
The first beta was released to developers four days ago, and now the first beta for public testers has arrived, too. As far as what’s new in the release, it’s the same software update that was released to developers, which means there are a plethora of new emojis, including support for the new taco, and even the oft-requested middle finger emoji.
For those taking part in the Public Beta Program, the update is available in the Mac App Store’s Updates section. It can also be downloaded via the Apple Developers Centers.
